Mononucleoza

Mononucleoza (boala sarutului sau mono) este o infectie virala care produce durere in gat, febra si umflarea ganglionilor limfatici ai gatului.


SIMPTOME


Mononucleoza poate sa debuteze cu oboseala, durere de cap si durere in gat. Durerea in gat se inrautateste pe masura ce boala avanseaza. Amigdalele se umfla si se acopera cu o mucoasa alb-galbuie. Ganglionii limfatici ai gatului se umfla si sunt durerosi.

Simptomele mononucleozei includ:
     - febra
     - disconfort general
     - pierderea apetitului
     - dureri musculare
     - mancarime
     - durere in gat
     - ganglioni limfatici umflati
     - marirea splinei

Simptomele mai putin frecvente pot fi:
     - durere de piept
     - tuse
     - oboseala
     - durere de cap
     - ingalbenirea pielii
     - intepenirea gatului
     - sangerari nazale
     - puls accelerat
     - fotofobie (sensibilitate la lumina)
     - respiratie grea


CAUZE


Mononucleoza este transmisa cel mai adesea prin saliva. Este cunoascuta ca boala sarutului si apare de obicei la tinerii intre 15 si 17 ani. Boala este provocata de virusul Epstein-Barr
